satisfy my soul...

satiate...

I love that word....

satiate....

it just fits sometimes... like today...I am completely satiated...

sunshine....my soul is satiated....and smiling...I drank a bunch of yummy latte....

maybe it's the caffeine....(damn you Starbucks)....but...I just...it's like that perfect moment when everything is....satiated...thirst, hunger, and whatever you would call what a soul needs...all, just perfectly....satiated.  

and now...I'm running low on watercolor paper...and I'm looking around for something to paint on and get creative....and maybe revisit an old pose and treat it a different way....

and...then I went to dig through old watercolors...in an old portfolio...and found a weird, dark blue sheet of corrugated paper....probably for some idea I had years ago...and then...got sidetracked....having babies and now that art is back....and satiating my soul....I look at this paper in a whole new way....


painting on it....it's got...crazy texture...which makes it really weird to paint on....like...learning to drive a car...in a crazy obstacle course....

and so...I'm sure I will play around with this more tomorrow...but for now...

I'm satiated.  :)
