I'm good...

lessons I teach daily...

when I asked my daughter....what lessons she has learned from me....I think she was caught off guard...and said, hmmmm, "not ignore you, don't fight with my brother, and to listen."

and Jude said, "ummmmmm....to get dressed....and say please."


I also try...to teach them....to be happy, healthy, sweet and loving children...capable of doing anything....and also....

1.  don't stare at your brother that way....put a smile on your face...

2.  drop what you're doing and dance....

3.  don't over mix a bunch of watercolor colors....it makes a muddy mess :)

4.  help...help others....help yourself....

5. be kind and smile....

6.  love

7.  rock

8. don't whine. :)

9.  appreciate

10. ignore the swear words in that song we listen to.  :)

what have they taught me? everything.....

11. talk to people....learn something from each person you meet....making a new friend is as easy as, saying...hi.  :)

12. never....give....up.....

13.  love...the crap out of yourself......because you are awesome.

14.  get excited...about....everything.

15. don't kick each other....

16.  share.....before you eat your last bite of cookie....

3.  kangaroos can't be too close to each other before they start fighting....like kangaroos

4.  raccoons are very curious animals....and will touch everything....especially when they aren't supposed to.

5.  little bear cubs will always follow their loving Mamma bear....especially if she is carrying snacks.

6.  nourishing little souls is just as important as nourishing little bodies and little minds.

7.  Jazz soothes them....and they stop making noise...and start listening....

8.  happy and loving children....take on the world children....are a reflection of the love and happiness they get...

9.   miracles happen.....angels exist.....and love...is always the answer.

10.  children.....have the most accurate wisdom.....and are able to break things down to the most uncomplicated....profound.....essence of the thing.

11.  talk to people....learn something from each person you meet....making a new friend is as easy as, saying...hi.  :)


sometimes rushing around doing all that you have to do.....takes you from the part....where you need to....just sit and hug a kid.

when I was over at my friend's house the other day, she told me about her mother-in-law and how she started painting at 50!  and I saw her paintings...the talent....just exquisite....and she started painting at 50!

it is never too late.....
